Description

Job Purpose

 

The Logistics Officer will be based in Duhok at REACH office and will work under supervision of and report to the logistics and supply chain manager. He/she is expected to undertake frequent field visits in mamrashan and essian camp. location where REACH might implement projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

§  Ensure that the appropriate procurement procedures are utilized for all Order requests based on the threshold of the cost involve.

§  Maintenance proper files of requisitions, quantities, quotations, evaluation forms and purchase orders in compliance with REACH logistic policy and audit/donor requirements under the guidance of SCL Manager, coordinate with program teams for timely delivery and distribution of goods & services for beneficiaries.

§  Receive requisitions and source bids & quotations for the purchases goods and services in accordance with REACH procurement regulations identification and obtaining of all resources required to ensure smooth functioning of field logistic operations.

§  Ensure that daily operations including procurement plans and related activities are implemented in accordance with norms and standards, as well as budget lines and limitations.

§  Register and maintain proper files of requisitions and purchase orders and other relevant documents.

§  Liaise with suppliers to ensure promote and accurate delivery of goods and services and received in good condition as per invoices, delivery notes and packing lists.

§  Ensure that proper procurement tracking systems are in place.

§  Register and maintain proper files of requisitions, quotations and purchase orders and other relevant documents.

§  Any other duties as required .

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Person Specification

·         Any Degree in business management  

·         Minimum of 3 years of progressive previous experience with other construction projects.

·         Excellent written and spoken Kurdish and English languages are an asset.

·         Computer knowledge is required (Excel, Word …etc.),
