Requirements for recruitment (please specify desired or obligatory): · Minimum 2 years of previous experience in Case Management (obligatory). · Minimum 2 years of experience working in protection programming (obligatory). · Minimum 2 years of experience in the provision of individual and group Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) for vulnerable populations. (obligatory) · In-depth knowledge and application of Case Management processes and procedures (obligatory). · Degree in psychology, mental health, or counseling (desired).

Responsibilities and Tasks: Case Management · Conduct case management intake assessments, determine protection needs, develop case action plans, review case progress and ensure safe case closure. · Empower and support clients to set goals for their own wellness and recovery through a client centered approach. · Develop and implement case action plan in consultation with individual cases. · Conduct case follow up and monitoring to ensure case action plan followed and achieved. · Record case information, complete all necessary forms accurately and ensuring privacy and confidentiality. · Participate in weekly case management conferences in order to ensure best care and support provided to beneficiaries. Mental Health and Psychosocial Support · Assess and address motivational and psychosocial issues, including basic stabilization and relaxation techniques. · Reduce stigma and shame by facilitating general psychoeducation /awareness for the community. · Facilitate psychosocial support through individual MHPSS sessions which address the individual needs of each case utilising counselling techniques. · Conduct groups MHPSS sessions following the group session procedures and dealing with context relevant issues in close coordination with MHPSS expert consultant. Referrals · Coordinate with other relevant NGO or governmental organizations to determine services available for each case. · Follow the official referral processes utilizing the inter-agency referral pathway or CPIMS+ for child protection cases and provide referrals when required. General · Track, record and monitor beneficiary targets to ensure proposal objectives and targets are met. · Support data management and reporting processes in accordance with donor requirements. · Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules and regulations including PSEA, safeguarding and the Yazda Code of Conduct. · Ensure confidentiality and privacy for all beneficiaries.

- Previous experience working in MHPSS and Case Management programming.
- Contextual understanding of mental health issues impacting vulnerable populations in Sinjar.
- Knowledge and experience in providing mental health counseling support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Kurdish (Kurmanji) and Arabic (obligatory) and English (desired).
- Experience in report writing and statistical data collection.
