Triangle Génération Humanitaire (TGH) is an international non-governmental organisation (NGO) designing and implementing emergency, post-emergency and development programs. The programs fall within the fields of water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH), civil engineering (Shelter), food security, rural development (Livelihood), socio-educational and psychosocial (Protection). In 2014, its committed teams operate in 10 countries and manage 43 programs.
TGH is working in KR-I since June 2013 mainly in the provision of socio-educational and psychosocial services to Syrian refugees. TGH is currently operating with a national partner an informal Learning Centre in Daratoo area of Erbil, providing educational and psychosocial services to Syrian refugees’ children. Since November 2015, TGH is implementing Cash for education project aiming at improving the school enrolment and attendance of Syrian refugees children out of camps in 8 cities of Erbil Governorate.
Since 2016, TGH is also implementing a project in Bardarash area including Education and Protection mobile units to support IDPs.
The present project has been designed to respond to the Mosul emergency situation and consists in setting up and deploying Mobile units to provide Emergency Education and Child Protection towards conflict-affected children in Ninewa, Erbil and Dahuk governorate
The overall objective of the Dataclerk is to be in charge of data entry as well as data management according to the projects need and the reporting requirement under the responsibility of the Field Team Leader, the Coordinator and the Project Manager.
Under the supervision of the Project Manager and the Field Team Leader of the Team and in cooperation with the recreational facilitators and the case workers as well as the Project Assistant, the Data Clerk will be responsible for:
Responsibility 1: Data Entry
Task 1 - Daily update of the CP databases used under the framework of TGH Emergency Response.
Task 2 - Classification of paper forms and reports after data entry to insure data preservation.
Responsibility 2: Data Management
Task 1 - Regular monitoring of the databases to insure their overall functionality and data accuracy.
Task 2 - Creation/improvement of data management tools according to the needs identified by the team or at the request of the Project Manager.
Task 3 - Analyze the data when needed, create graphs and report on data analysis.
Responsibility 3: Reporting
Task 1 - Support to the weekly reporting done as part of the Emergency Response.
Task 2 - Support data analysis in relation with specific reporting requirements.
Responsibility 4: Data security
Task 1 - Ensuring data confidentiality.
Task 2 - Creation and maintenance of databases backup and recovery systems.
Responsibility 5: Translation
Task 1 - Provide translation, oral and written when needed.
This list is not exhaustive, you could be requested to perform other tasks as your supervisor may judge necessary.
· Computer science and/or proven strongly experience on Data Entry and Data management and Diplomas.
· Accuracy and good attention to detail
· understanding of data confidentiality issues
· The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
· Strong computer skills (MS Office).
· Strong organizational and reporting skills.
· Very creative, active, positive and flexible.
· Strongly motivated by humanitarian work.
Mandatory: Fluency in written and spoken Arabic. Good communication skills in English.
