- Bachelor in relevant field or proven experience
- Minimum working experience of 2 years in project implementation

Introduction
ZOA Iraq supports vulnerable conflict-affected people with social reconstruction activities, livelihood assistance, and psychosocial support in order to establish stable and peaceful communities with hope for the future.
Purpose of the position
The Project Officer will be responsible for the implementation of livelihood projects in the field of agriculture, livestock and horticulture, and business development. The Project Officer will ensure the implementation of community-level activities for agricultural trainings and business support in Tel Afar District. The Project Officer will support implementation of livelihoods projects in Mosul working on agricultural skills development and business trainings.
Overall objective
Improving the living conditions of IDPs, returnees, and host community members in target areas through the implementation of Cash for Work activities, business management trainings, business grants and agricultural trainings.
Task and responsibilities
- Supports implementation of the project at the community level.
- Executes needs assessments along with program objectives
- Engages in community mobilization.
- Supports beneficiary selection.
- Frequent site visits to Tel Afar
- Provide support in assessing completed business grant applications, by participants in business
skills training, for eligibility for financial support.
- Provide mentoring, technical support, and motivation to the business created by grants provision.
- Actively liaise with project beneficiaries on project activities
- Conducts frequent field visits.
- Reports on project implementation to the Project Coordinator on a regular basis
- Support the Project Coordinator in daily implementation and administrative tasks, including logistics and procurement.
- Ensure that all supporting documents for PRs and payment requests are properly filed, documented, and photocopied for filing.
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Ensure the ZOA Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policy are kept in all activities
